You’ve been able to discover Preciosa Lighting’s sparkle in China for a while now, but that glow is about to become bigger. To support our growing customer base in the country, we’ve opened an office in Shanghai.
“We are so pleased that we’re going to be closer to our customers and their projects,” said Maher Akil, Director of Sales and Marketing for China. “The country’s design scene is fascinating and there are many interesting projects looking for custom crystal lighting so we are excited to be here.”

In 2019, we opened a showroom in the Shanghai Home Expo, in Tiamantti, the city’s premier luxury home furnishings destination. The success of the showroom has shown us the need to have a bigger presence in the country, especially for larger hospitality and other public projects.

“What’s wonderful about our lighting is the options available for both private and public spaces,” said Mr. Akil. “Our Signature Design Pearl Drop is in a luxury residence in Shanghai and we’ve done an eleven meter by five meter spiral chandelier in The Nanyuan Hotel in Ningbo. I’m looking forward to working with Chinese designers on their projects, both big and small.”
