Dubai eatery ‘highly commended’ in the CID Awards

Toplum Cafe & Restaurant brings a Mediterranean vibe to the desert lifestyle of Dubai. Preciosa Lighting worked with design studio XO Atelier to create custom lighting inspired by the sunset. The restaurant received a ‘highly commended’ honour in the Best Use of Lighting in Interior Design category.

Preciosa designer Anežka Závadová worked with the studio to create a central, two-metre chandelier featuring a mix of opal spheres and tinted glass in various circular forms.

Commercial Interior Design Awards

Now in their 14th year, the CID Awards celebrate the best of Middle East interior design and architecture. Awards are handed out in categories ranging from hospitality to retail, public sector to office design as well as to individuals and firms.
