Preciosa Designs Dynamic Light for Norwegian Cruise Line

Like a sparkling rainbow shimmering down, Preciosa Lighting’s latest installation will wow guests on Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship. We are extra proud of this achievement because it is the highest lighting concept for a cruise ship we have produced to date.

This statement lighting piece dominates the Bliss’ atrium area, making it an unmissable feature on board. The installation is fully programmable in terms of colour choice, speed change and hue intensity. Thousands of combinations are possible so a new light show can be created every evening. With our artistic designers and innovative solutions, Preciosa is changing the way ship designers think about onboard light fixtures.

Norwegian Bliss was completed in April 2018 and is the ninth largest cruise ship in the world. In 2020, this chandelier won Best Lighting in the Cruise Ship Interiors Awards. Preciosa collaborated with interior designers Tillberg Design of Sweden and lighting consultants we are light from Hamburg on this unique project.
