Preciosa brings a wave of light to the Monaco Yacht Show

The Monaco Yacht Show is an annual international show dedicated to the world of superyachts. Preciosa has been attending the show for years, showcasing creative crystal lighting for yachts, and the technology we’ve developed to make it happen. This year, we’ll be bringing our Signature Design, Inspiral.

Inspiral

Inspiral brings personalized crystal artistry to projects, allowing designers the opportunity to be creative and design their own swirl of light. We’ve adapted Inspiral to be suitable for maritime projects, which means our Maritime team used technology and materials that not only meets maritime safety requirements, but can also beautifully withstand the harsh conditions of life at sea.

Inspiral for the Monaco Yacht Show is 13 metres long, consists of 1,830 crystal prism pieces and features metal tubes for stability.

Preciosa Lighting is a proud sponsor of The Honours by MYS and the Superyacht Life Foundation, whose mission is to recognize inspiring people behind inspirational stories that make the superyachting world exceptional. Preciosa was pleased to craft the trophies for this programme, which were created by designer Stephen Gross.

We are aware, and respectful of, the special requirements found on board and can create unique chandeliers, wall lights, decorative objects, and floor or furniture inlays as well as various options for columns and balustrades.
