It’s been a whirlwind of a ride for our Carousel of Light. We are thrilled to announce that the joyful installation has won a 2021 [d]arc award in the Art - Bespoke category.

Carousel of Light debuted at Euroluce 2019 in Milan. The fun concept and interactive elements brought smiles and laughter to everyone who visited. Carousel of Light is based on our Signature Design, Pearl Curtain.

We are extra proud of this achievement because after the shortlist was chosen by an international jury of independent architectural lighting designers; lighting design practices, architects and interior designers cast the final votes. Thank you to all who supported Carousel of Light!

The [d]arc awards were announced at an online ceremony on April 29, 2021, a celebratory end to [d]arc awards week. Lighting professionals had the opportunity to meet and learn during the [d]arc room livestream conference which featured over 50 expert speakers sharing their experiences and stories about light. Attendees to the awards ceremony got the chance to view exclusive interviews with the winners. Plans are being made to have an in-person event in September during Design London.

Pearl Curtain has also been installed in a luxury villa in Dubai. The designer chose Pearl Curtain for its ability to make a sparkling statement. The four metre by five metre installation is in the family’s living room.
