We’re opening the doors once again! Preciosa Lighting’s Day of Open Doors is always a fun-filled family event, and it’s coming up quick! Get ready for a day filled with mesmerizing surprises, an interactive programme, and endless light-filled fun for young and old.

For us, light is a source of beauty and warmth and something that carries emotions, moods, and atmosphere. And that's what you'll experience! We’ll take you behind the scenes of our creations, share our inspiration, and introduce you to the innovations that drive us forward.

What will you experience?

• We are thrilled to offer you a rare opportunity to discover the hidden gems of our production that are usually kept behind closed doors. Our tour will take you on an exclusive journey where you’ll have the chance to meet some of our most expert glassmaking artisans who will generously share their wealth of knowledge and skills with you.


• You’ll join us on an exclusive journey to witness the birthplace of our stunning crystal installations. Immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of handmade glass production. From feeling the warmth of the fired wooden moulds to experiencing over 300 years of glassmaking tradition, you'll be left with unforgettable memories.


• Don't miss our Sample Collection, where crystal beauty thrives! We’ll have a wide variety of jewellery and glass pieces for purchase that are sure to please any admirer of exquisite design. You’ll appreciate the advantageous prices, and our young visitors will receive a special surprise.


• There will be workshops and fun-filled activities perfect for children of all ages. With this unforgettable experience, youth will have the opportunity to get up-close and personal with the wonderful art of glassmaking. Who knows, you might just discover a hidden talent within yourself!

Day of Open Doors will take place, rain or shine! It’s held indoors, making it the perfect activity for families with children. We kindly ask that you keep in mind that our tour route may not be suitable for individuals with reduced mobility and strollers. If you bring a stroller, we’ll ask you to leave it in our safe storage area during the tour.

The Preciosa Lighting Day of Open Doors Day is part of the Crystal Valley weekend. Take advantage of the whole programme and visit other events related to the glassmaking traditions of Kamenický Šenov.
