On Saturday, November 12, Preciosa Lighting opens its doors to all explorers of all age. Wondering how the clear fragile material from Crystal Valley transforms into a statement piece for emirs' palaces, international airports, prestigious global hotels and ocean liners? Follow the crystal trail and discover this special place with its unique atmosphere and admired for its long-standing tradition, design and glassmaking craftsmanship.

What will you discover?

Take advantage of this unique opportunity and discover the places where our Lightkeepers breathe life into light installations shining all over the world! Visit the glass factory and for the first time the place where the original crystal design of our lighting fixtures is created.

We hope you will walk the whole path and become an apprentice to the Lightkeepers. We will test your abilities, in a playful way, at each individual location. Each new apprentice proving his ability to protect the fragile beauty will also receive a special treat.

Lovers of crystal beauty can purchase jewellery and other glass products at attractive prices. A special selection of refreshments will allow you to recharge after the busy day. The event takes place in all weather, the program will be indoors and is suitable for families with children.

As the Day of Open Doors is part of the Crystal Valley Weekend, you have the opportunity to enjoy other events connected with the glassmaking tradition in Kamenický Šenov and visit our company store (9 a.m. to 1,30 p.m.).
